ARK tests edge caching over next-gen TV standard ATSC 3.0

Broadcast company ARK Multicasting has tested edge caching of video content over next-gen TV standard ATSC 3.0.

ATSC 3.0 is the latest standard from the Advanced Television Systems Committee which determines how TV signals are broadcast and interpreted.

The benefits of ATSC 3.0 for consumers include improved reception, 4K UHD resolution, HDR, and Dolby Atmos support⁠—all over-the-air.
